Modern Warfare 2- Map Packs $15

April 4, 2010 at 11:26 pm (Gaming) (, , , , )

$15 FOR DLC Pack!? Yes! Its true.

The recent launch of the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2′s stimulus pack for XBOX 360, which includes 5 maps (2 from previous version: Modern Warfare), is costing $15. That is too expensive for a DLC. I feel that Activision is leaving us no choice with their greedy choice. They are spending money on disadvantageous materials. A recent news article states that Activision’s marketing for the Stimulus Pack in only the UK has cost them £1 million. Imagine how much they spent worldwide!

Even though  Activision has promised that gamers will be mind blown by these new maps, I still feel that they have highly priced, what should be rather classified as a gift from Activision. After all we did buy Modern Warfare 2, right? We the customers helped break records by purchasing the game in the first week. Activation’s greedy behavior is just plain nonsense.

Cyber Crimes

March 14, 2010 at 4:07 pm (Technology) (, , , , )

It’s disgusting but also ironic to see some cybercrimes like child pornography and cyber stalking. Since pornography is one of the top businesses on the internet, it makes child pornography a very common request from very disgusting people. Child pornography is illegal in all nations, so why record your crime and publish it on the internet? You are sending full proof to everyone of your crime and most importantly, you’re  mentally sick behavior. Don’t abuse children. It’s just plain disgusting.
Also cyber stalking is very common, especially with Twitter and Facebook. Some people add others randomly. Are they aware that they may be giving out private information about their life to strangers? Are they doing this to achieve attention? Whatever it is, one may think it is an indirect message telling them to stalk them.

It should be very clear that everyone should be very careful of what they are publishing on the internet because there are a lot of cybercrimes going on out there. They are done by people with either personality of a hacker or cracker or even both.

A hacker’s main intention is to get into a computer and a cracker’s main role is to figure out ways to bypass the security. But being in both makes one much powerful so be very careful. And don’t trust everything on the internet because It is very difficult to see how much of cybercrimes has emerged from last generation.

Brand New

March 10, 2010 at 11:23 pm (General)

It seems as if everyone has a blog these days! And with that under consideration, I quickly decided to get one too!  My intention is to figure out how this works, and in a short while I should be a professional with blogging! Although being a student and also working is very hard to manage, I will figure out a way to organize my time and keep my blog up-to-date.

I have received several compliments about WordPress being one of the top best bloggers but I have yet to find out. Let’s try this out! Let the game begin!
